Boiler Fire Levittown,NY

A boiler fire caused heavy smoke and soot damage throughout a single family home in Levittown, New York. SERVPRO of Farmingdale/Massapequa was called in by the homeowners insurance company. The smoke was so heavy that it caused soot webs to form throughout the home. All structural surfaces in the home were vacuumed,sponged, and then washed. All closets and cabinets required cleaning in and out. The contents of the home were all cleaned thoroughly as well. The painted surfaces did not respond well to cleaning and required painting. This project took approximately 4 weeks to complete from start to finish. This was another job well done by SERVPRO.
