Laundromat
SERVPRO of Farmingdale/Massapequa was called into a commercial laundromat. What started up as an ongoing leak quickly turned into a full blown mold job. It appears that the waste line was clogged and cracked causing waste water to drain into the wall cavity. When we were in the process of removing the wet sheetrock we discovered more than 10 square feet of mold growth. We immediately called in a hygenist to assess the damage. Testing was done and the hygenist established a protocol for SERVPRO to follow. The business had to be closed while the mold remediation was being done. This was all due to hidden water damage.
