Water damaged kitchen in Suffolk County Long Island.

This flooded home in Smithtown, New York was the result of a broken washing machine hose. The water damage spread quickly to other areas of the home. SERVPRO of Farmingdale/Massapequa arrived on the scene within 1 hour. Our highly trained technicians mitigated the standing water and set up drying equipment to eliminate the remaining moisture. Unfortunately the water penetrated the laminate floor covering and it had to be removed. The kitchen cabinet bases were also delaminated and needed to be removed and discarded. When the moisture readings in the home were brought back to normal levels construction was started. New floors were installed as well as a brand new kitchen. Our customer was ecstatic with her new kitchen and we were happy to have another satisfied customer.
