The license can not just be purchased. The business owner and employees must take a 3 day course and pass a written test to receive there mold handlers license. Every 3 years a refresher course needs to be taken to renew your license. During the course you are taught about microbial growth, setting up proper containment, safety, and proper remediation techniques. This a all a part of controlling the industry and keeping both the employees and the customers safe and informed.
