SERVPRO of Farmingdale/Massapequa was called in by a realtor who was about to show a rental property to a client. The stores water main froze and burst, flooding out the nearly 4000 square foot unit. Upon our arrival we observed 8 inches of water throughout the premises. To make matters even worse a good portion of the property was made up of platforms,sleeper floors, and built in cabinets and counters. After our initial extraction all of the platforms and the entire sleeper floor system needed to be demolished to access drying underneath. The demolition also included removal of drywall 2 feet up at the rooms perimeter. Upon completion of demolition drying equipment was validated and installed. The entire dry out  took less than a week.
