Long Island basement fire.

An overloaded electrical circuit  started a fire in the basement of this Long Island home. The fire caused heavy smoke damage throughout all 3 floors of the house. SERVPRO of Farmingdale/Massapequa was called in by the homeowners insurance company to mitigate and restore the property back to its original condition. Upon our arrival all salvageable contents were packed out and delivered to our storage facility. These content items would then be cleaned and stored, and delivered back to the home once repairs were complete. The basement was a complete gut and the remainder of the house was cleaned and painted. The project took 2 months to complete. We were happy to help get the homeowners back in there nice clean home.
