Storm damage and hazardous materials
When a neighborhood is affected by a storm or tidal surge there are quite a few things to take into consideration. The wind, weather, and tide might not be the only dangers present. Downed electric lines pose a potential threat to everyone. The debris that is washed up in a tidal surge is also something to consider. There could be oil, gas, sewage, and even the potential for bio hazards mixed in with the water. During a recent hurricane the natural gas lines were breached causing the potential for explosion. Airborne or floating debris pose a significant threat to both you and your loved ones. Be careful and be safe!
